Park Rules & Regulations
The Village Park has rules and regulations which are designed to protect the public health, safety, and welfare in respect to the recreational activities, programs, and facilities in the Park. Rules are also designed to maximize enjoyment of the Park and to offer protection from conditions which could harm, injure, or offend any group or individual.
The rules and regulations for Village Park are stated here in Ordinance #151. In addition to the rules and regulations contained in the previous document, the Village Council enacted Ordinance #134 which prohibits registered sex offenders in Village Park. Please pay attention to signs posted throughout Village Park which further detail rules and instructions for use of each facility.
If you are renting the Picnic Shelter, Gazebo, or Alice Watts Tuttle Community Center, your rental contract will also give instructions and rules for the use of these facilities. We ask that you abide by these rules and regulations and hope that you have an enjoyable experience during your visit.
If you wish to report problems or violations, please call Village Hall at 336-983-0029 or report them to the Village Park employees or attendants
