NOTICE – BULK PICKUP SERVICES CANCELLED FOR 2020

Village of Tobaccoville, NC

The Village was unable to perform the annual bulk pickup this spring due to concerns related to COVID-19. We had initially planned to delay the service until September 28th, but now are providing you notification of the cancellation of the service for this year. The Village contracts for bulk pickup equipment and personnel, and due to continued concerns with COVID-19, we are still unable to obtain the equipment and personnel to perform the curbside pickup. Please help us spread the news that the rescheduled fall pickup has been cancelled and that there will be no bulk pickup service for 2020. We are sorry for this inconvenience, and understand that this is a difficult time for everyone. We will also post this information on our facebook page and our sign and bulletin board at Village Park. Please do not place any items at the curb this year for bulk pickup. They will not be collected. The Village has budgeted for a regular bulk pickup for spring of 2021 and that date will be announced in the spring newsletter and on the website. This notice does not affect regular garbage and recycling services. If you have questions, please call Village Hall at 336-983-0029.
