Village Council Meetings
Village Council meetings regularly take place on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. They are held in council chambers at Village Hall. All council meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. To read Minutes from previous council meetings, please use this link (Village Council Meetings)

History Committee Meetings
The History Committee meets the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at 10 a.m. in the conference room at Village Hall. If you wish to learn more about this committee, please visit the History section of the Village website.

Holiday Lights
Holiday lights are displayed throughout the Village of Tobaccoville on portions of Doral Drive and Tobaccoville Road. The lights are officially lit by the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
The tree lighting ceremony traditionally takes place at the park on the first Monday following Thanksgiving and is coordinated by the Park and Recreation Committee. It has become a special time of community fellowship and signals the official beginning of the holiday season in the Village of Tobaccoville. The 2017 tree lighting is scheduled for Monday, November 27, 2017 and additional information will be available in the winter 2017 newsletter.

National Day of Prayer - Thursday, May 4, 2017
The first Thursday in May is designated as a National Day of Prayer. The Village of Tobaccoville holds an observance for the community each year at 12 noon in the gazebo at The Village Park. To view the National Day of Prayer Proclamation for 2016, please click here.
